It is incumbent upon each of us to seriously ponder our future. It is imperative that each of
us be willing to study, once again, the great principles upon which this country was built.
Such a study demands that we re-familiarize ourselves with the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
We must re-read our Declaration of Independence. We must read the words of wisdom and warnings delivered by our Founding Fathers. In short, we must be completely familiar with the principles of liberty, because those principles made us, and only those principles will keep us. We must teach these basics to our children, for the public schools have a different agenda. |

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him, 'Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am.' The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, 'You're in a hot air balloon approximately 30 feet above at a ground elevation of 2346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.' She rolled her eyes and said, 'You must be a Republican.' 'I am,' replied the man. 'How did you know?' 'Well,' answered the balloonist, 'everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do with your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help to me.' The man smiled and responded, 'You must be a Democrat.' 'I am,' replied the balloonist. 'How did you know?' 'Well,' said the man, 'you don't know where you are or where you're going. You've risen to where you are due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem. 'Furthermore,' the man continued,' you're in exactly the same position you were in before we met; but, somehow, now it's all my fault.' |

How destructive to the U.S. economy would a Barack Obama presidency be? There could be a very rough time ahead. Beneath Obama's flowery rhetoric lies a dangerous economic plan that will wreak havoc on the American economy. Obama plans to return to the failed policies of high taxation coupled with an expansion of government spending. Worse, Obama says he is absolutely committed to almost doubling the capital gains rate — something he will easily accomplish with a Democrat Congress. In the coming months — when investors realize that Obama will raise the cap gains rate — there could be a stampede of asset sales as investors rush to take their profits now to avoid Obama's doubling of the tax rates next year. Obamanomics = the Coming Tax-and-Spend Nightmare The Democratic presidential candidate's likely strategies will affect not just the larger economy, but your personal wealth as well. Indeed, Obama makes no bones about his plans to go on a tax rampage. Not only would he increase the capital-gains tax rate from 15 percent to as much as 28 percent, he wants to allow the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010, which effectively raises taxes on Americans by tens of billions of dollars. He also wants to do away with the $102,000 FICA payroll tax cap, which means anyone making over $102,000 would pay an additional 7 percent in taxes on earned income. And the loan dividend tax rate George Bush implemented? Under President Obama it will be DOA!
So, What are you going to do to save us all from this? |

"Under [Bill] Clinton, the entire federal government put massive pressure
on banks to grant more mortgages to the poor and minorities. Clinton's
secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Andrew Cuomo, investigated Fannie
Mae for racial discrimination and proposed that 50 percent of Fannie Mae's
and Freddie Mac's portfolio be made up of loans to low-to moderate-income
borrowers by the year 2001. Instead of looking at 'outdated criteria,' such as the mortgage applicant's credit history and ability to make a down payment, banks were encouraged to consider nontraditional measures of credit-worthiness, such as having a good jump shot or having a missing child named 'Caylee.' Threatening lawsuits, Clinton's Federal Reserve demanded that banks treat welfare payments and unemployment benefits as valid income sources to qualify for a mortgage. That isn't a joke - it's a fact. ... In 1999, liberals were bragging about extending affirmative action to the financial sector. Los Angeles Times reporter Ron Brownstein hailed the Clinton administration's affirmative action lending policies as one of the 'hidden success stories' of the Clinton administration, saying that 'black and Latino homeownership has surged to the highest level ever recorded.' Meanwhile, economists were screaming from the rooftops that the Democrats were forcing mortgage lenders to issue loans that would fail the moment the housing market slowed and deadbeat borrowers couldn't get out of their loans by selling their houses. A decade later, the housing bubble burst and, as predicted, food-stamp-backed mortgages collapsed. Democrats set an affirmative action time-bomb and now it's gone off." ---Ann Coulter

At the time of this writing, September 25th 2008,
the U.S. House and Senate are poised to pass a $700 billion bailout to Wall Street. At the
behest of President George W. Bush, the U.S. taxpayers are going to be on
the hook for what can only be referred to as the biggest fraud in U.S. history.
Virtually our entire financial system is based on an illusion. We spend more than we earn, we consume more than we produce, we borrow more than we save, and we cling to the fantasy that this can go on forever. The glue that holds this crumbling scheme together is a fiat currency known as the Federal Reserve Note, which was created out of thin air by an international banking cartel called the Federal Reserve. According to Congressman Ron Paul, in the last three years, the Federal Reserve has created over $4 trillion in new money. The result of all this "money-out-of-thin-air" fraud is never-ending inflation. And the more prices rise, the more the dollar collapses. Folks, this is not sustainable. Already, Bear Stearns was awarded a $29 billion bailout, followed quickly by the bailout of Freddie and Fannie that will cost the taxpayers up to $200 billion. Then the Fed announced the bailout of AIG to the tune of $85 billion. Mind you, AIG is an enormous global entity with assets totaling more than $1.1 trillion. Moreover, the Feds agreed to pump $180 billion into global money markets. And the Treasury Department promised $50 billion to insure the holdings of money market mutual funds for a year. Now, taxpayers are being asked to provide $700 billion to Wall Street. (I hope readers are aware that, not only will American banks be bailed out, but foreign banks will also be bailed out. Then again, at least half of the Federal Reserve is comprised of foreign banks, anyway.) In other words, the Federal Reserve is preparing to spend upwards of $1 trillion or more. Remember again, this is fiat money, meaning it is money printed out of thin air. All of this began when the U.S. Congress abrogated its responsibility to maintain sound money principles on behalf of the American people (as required by the Constitution) and created the Federal Reserve. This took place in 1913. The President was Woodrow Wilson. (I strongly encourage readers to buy G. Edward Griffin's book, The Creature from Jekyll Island.) Since then, the U.S. economy has suffered through one Great Depression and several recessions--all of which have been orchestrated by this international banking cartel. Now, we are facing total economic collapse. But don't worry: the international bankers will lose nothing--not even their bonuses. They will maintain their mansions, yachts, private jets, and Swiss bank accounts. No matter how bad it gets on Main Street, the banksters on Wall Street will still have the best of it--President Bush and the Congress will make sure of that. This is one thing Republicans and Democrats can agree on. America's founders were rightfully skeptical of granting too much power to bankers. Thomas Jefferson said, "If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered." Jefferson also believed that "banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale." Daniel Webster warned, "Of all the contrivances for cheating the laboring classes of mankind, none has been more effectual than that which deludes them with paper money." Webster also said, "We are in danger of being overwhelmed with irredeemable paper, mere paper, representing not gold nor silver; no, Sir, representing nothing but broken promises, bad faith, bankrupt corporations, cheated creditors, and a ruined people." Our first and greatest President George Washington said, "Paper money has had the effect in your State [Rhode Island] that it ever will have, to ruin commerce--oppress the honest, and open the door to every species of fraud and injustice." If George W. Bush, John McCain, or Barack Obama had any honesty and integrity, they would approach the current banking malady in much the same way that President Andrew Jackson did. In discussing the Bank Renewal bill with a delegation of bankers in 1832, Jackson said, "Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time, and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out, and by the eternal God, I will rout you out." What President Andrew Jackson said to the bankers in 1832 is exactly what an American President should say to these criminal international bankers today. But what George Bush, John McCain, and Barack Obama want to do is provide amnesty for the international bankers, just as they want to provide amnesty for illegal aliens. I say, No amnesty for Wall Street, and no amnesty for illegal aliens, either. Instead of sending these banksters on extended vacations to the Bahamas with millions of taxpayer dollars in their pockets, we should be sending them straight to jail! The only way to fix this economic mess that the international bankers have created is to return America to sound money principles, as prescribed in the U.S. Constitution. This means dismantling the Federal Reserve and the Internal Revenue Service, overturning the 16th Amendment and the personal income tax, and returning the American monetary system to hard assets: gold and silver. Anything short of this will only delay and worsen the inevitable collapse that has already begun. There is a better solution than the proposed bailout: Read This. |

The House of Representatives approved a bill to allow offshore oil drilling, but nearly all the Republicans voted against it... It isn't a drilling bill, it's an anti-drilling bill! If it becomes law, nearly all the oil and gas in the Outer Continental Shelf would be off-limits forever... This bill permanently bans all drilling within 50 miles of the US coast, which just happens to be where most of the recoverable oil and gas reserves are. It permits drilling between 50 and 100 miles out only if the adjoining states agree - which they won't, since the bill denies them any share in the royalties the oil companies would have to pay, thereby eliminating any financial incentive for a state to say yes. Virtually all the oil off the California coast and beneath the Eastern Gulf of Mexico would be locked up for good. Don't be fooled: The only offshore drilling this bill really opens the door to would have to be 100 miles or more out to sea, where the oil companies have no infrastructure... According to the Interior Department, the offshore areas where drilling is restricted contain more than 19 billion barrels - that's equal to 30 years of current imports from Saudi Arabia. The bill would deny Americans access to as much as nine-tenths of that oil. A good deal? I don't think so. They say they are doing everything for you, but then if you believe that... I don't think the Democrats have a single care for anything except their own pocket. More Democrats scorched earth policy to make them look better? I think so. |

IPCC Global Warming Report is a Hoax
The media continues to ignore the facts, we should ask why. |
|
It would seem the media, and by extension, the people who depend on it for accurate
news, would rather believe a lie than the truth. This realization led Dr.
Ross McKittrick, who discredited the 2001 IPCC report, to lament, "We are now
at the stage where mere facts, reason, and truth are powerless in the face of the global
warming propaganda." It is a scary thought, but he is correct. Ignorance and propaganda
now form the basis of our policy on climate change (and many other environmental issues).

On Monday Israel's Army Radio reported details of the comments Biden made when he met
with "senior Israeli officials behind closed doors."
Reportedly Biden told the officials he opposed "opening a additional military and diplomatic front" against Iran. "Israel will have to reconcile itself with the nuclearization of Iran," Army Radio quoted Biden as telling the Israelis. Army Radio said that at that time Israeli officials were shocked by Biden's comments. a consensus across the political spectrum has developed on the Iran matter. Iran's president Ahmadinejad has stated that he will wipe Israel off the map, making clear his use weapons of mass destruction against the Jewish state. |

Prime Minister John Howard Australia:
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nations mosques. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 - Quote: IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society... Learn the language! Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture. We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us. This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE. If you arent happy here then just LEAVE. We didnt force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted. Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths!! JUST MAYBE? |

Why is there no money in our Social Security Fund? Not because too many people filed
for earned benefits. It is because the money in the Social Security Trust Fund was
used to finance handouts to the Welfare Generation from 1964 to 1994. In 30 years
the Democrats, who used generational welfare to chain minorities to the feeding trough
of the State and to the voting booth where they were forced to vote Democratic to
keep their welfare checks coming, stole your retirement funds and replaced them with
worthless IOUs. Thats why.
Still think the Democrats are the party of the people, and worthy of your vote? I don't . The facts say they are not. The facts say they are the party of the greedy, the lazy and the uneducated, which is also the way of life they promote thru their legislation, and this proves it factually, once again. The government, in turn, argues that far from issuing "worthless IOUs," the "investments" held by the trust funds are backed by the "full faith and credit" of the US government. The bureaucrats insist the federal government has always repaid the Social Security Trust Fund-with interest. And, that's the problem. The Social Security Trust Fund became a "passbook" savings account for the government rather than an investment in which the "people" purchased high yeild securities. Instead of earning the types of returns you would expect from high yield securities, the government paid the American people 4.656% simple interest on their money. Only today, the Social Security Trust Fund reserve is almost virtually nonexistent. What should still be a cash reserve in the trillions of dollars is almost an empty vault filled with worthless IOUs that Uncle Sam can't repay. If you want more of this, vote for a Democrat, again. For the sake of my children and granchildren, I hope you don't allow a single Democrat to hold office again until they re-read our founding fathers documents and are required by law (inforced) to abide by their oath of office. Did you know: A bust of Abraham Lincoln stolen from the White House was discovered in Al Gore's home on July 10, 2001? |
| We have been lied to! |

Yeah, so what's new? Did you know we shipped 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" uranium ore, removed from Tuwaitha, Iraq, to Canada for their power plants as partial payment for their help in the liberation in Iraq? That is enough to make 100 medium sized Nuclear BOMBS! Yeah, Saddam had no WMD... uh huh. All the while we are STILL being told the lie that "there was no WMD." Isn't this the basis for the chant "Bush lied" that everyone says? Then this is a lie too? "We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction..." - Ted Kennedy (September 27, 2002) Ever wonder what the Liberal Press and Democrat Congress WON'T DO to mislead us? |
Least we forget: In 1998, the U.S. Congress passed, and President Bill Clinton signed, the Iraq Liberation Act. That Act stated, "It should be the policy of the United States to support efforts to remove the regime headed by Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq, and to promote the emergence of a democratic government to replace that regime." This legislation passed the Democrat controlled House by a vote of 360 to 38, and it passed the Democrats Senate without a single vote in opposition. Kinda removes the validity of the ignorant chant "Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11" that is also used repeatedly to mislead us. No one ever said it did, so why the continual repeating of the statement by the Democrats and their puppet press? |
On 11 November, President Bush noted: "While it is perfectly legitimate to criticize my decision or the conduct of the war, it is deeply irresponsible to rewrite the history of how that war began." |
|
"The disconnect between what Democrats are saying about Iraq and what is
actually happening there has reached grotesque proportions. Democrats won an
exhilarating electoral victory in 2006 pledging withdrawal at a time when
conditions in Iraq were dire and we were indeed losing the war. Two years
later, when everything is changed, they continue to reflexively repeat their
'narrative of defeat and retreat' (as Joe Lieberman so memorably called it)
as if nothing has changed... Obama and the Democrats would forfeit every one of
these successes to a declared policy of fixed and unconditional withdrawal. If
McCain cannot take to the American people the case for the folly of that
policy, he will not be president. Nor should he be." ---Charles Krauthammer |
| Note to those still voting for Obama: |
|---|
"Barack Obama, parroting the received wisdom of the Democratic foreign policy establishment, said that victory in any meaningful sense was not only unlikely, but that the presence of large numbers of American soldiers actually fed the insurgency and decreased the prospects for stability." If the war is LOST, then why is Al-Maliki declaring that Al-Qaeda, (our enemy and responsible for 9/11), has lost in Iraq? Facts: Fifteen of eighteen benchmarks have been reached, all the parties are in negotiation over future politics, al Qaeda is close to dead at the hands of the US and the Iraqis, and oil contracts are being handed out amid four-year lows in violence. Attacks in Iraq are down more than 90 percent over the previous year. "Let me be as clear as I can be," says Obama. "I intend to end this war. My first day in office I will bring the Joint Chiefs of Staff in and I will give them a new mission and that is to end this war - responsibly, deliberately, but decisively." The only way to end a war "responsibly, deliberately and decisively" is victory. Don't grab defeate out of the jaws of victory, please! Arguably, since our nation's founding, no candidate has been less qualified than Obama to be his political party's nominee for president of the United States. And nowhere is Obama more ill prepared than in matters of national security. Barack Obama, the national security neophyte, continues to prove himself unworthy of the title "Commander in Chief." Obama tripped up on national security numerous times this week. First, as the situation in Iraq continues improving, Obama continues to stick by his 16-month plan for withdrawal. However, his campaign did scrub his Web site over the weekend, removing all criticism of the surge. Instead, it cites an "improved security situation" en route to advocating more change (read: retreat). Barack will travel to the Middle East beginning today, with a stop in Europe on the way. And he will have groupies -- namely ABC anchor Charles Gibson, CBS anchor Katie Couric and NBC anchor Brian Williams, who will tag along and fawn appropriately. Next up, the infamous New Yorker magazine article referenced above quotes Obama as saying, "My grandfather signed up for a war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed, fought in Patton's Army. He saw the dead and dying across the fields of Europe; he heard the stories of fellow troops who first entered Auschwitz and Treblinka..." Obama stuck his foot in his mouth on Auschwitz before, and we noted that the Red Army of Soviet Russia liberated that camp. Treblinka, on the other hand, was closed and destroyed by the Germans in 1943. Oops. Finally, a gaffe that is far more worrisome than the others: According to Obama, the U.S. "cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set." He continued, "We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Wait a minute. Will this "national security force" also wear brown shirts? Oddly enough, it seems that Obama's campaign realized that wouldn't fly -- the line was stricken from the transcripts given to the media, though it is still in the video posted on YouTube. And tell me why again we want this man as our Commander in Chief? - jb |

"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free
State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms, shall not be
infringed." --Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. Yesterday, in a narrow 5-4 vote (Scalia, Alito, Roberts, Thomas and Kennedy), the Supreme Court reaffirmed, in District of Columbia v. Heller, that the people's inherent right to keep and bear arms is plainly enumerated in our Constitution. The Court ruled that the Second Amendment ensures an individual right, that DC could not ban handguns, and that operable guns may be maintained in the homes of law-abiding DC residents. In a masterful feat of doubletalk, Barack Hussein Obama, who erroneously asserts, "The notion that somehow local jurisdictions can't initiate gun laws isn't borne out by our Constitution," claims the Supreme Court agreed with his interpretation. Mind you, this is the same Barack Obama who recently said, "I have never favored an all-out ban on handguns," even while denying the plain truth that his signature appears on a questionnaire indicating that he does favor such a ban; the same Barack Obama who recently said during a 16 April debate when asked by Charlie Gibson whether the DC gun ban is consistent with the Constitution, "Well, Charlie, I confess I obviously haven't listened to the briefs and looked at all the evidence." Would Obama make the same argument about local jurisdictions regulating issues like segregation? Does he suggest, by extension then, that our national Constitution can be amended by judicial dictates and local ordinances? I can't help but ponder how future 2A cases would fare if the Obama/Clinton ticket wins in November and then stacks the courts with judicial activists who subscribe to their adulterated view of a "Living Constitution." Michelle Obama says her husband will fight for equality for gays just as he fought to help working-class families overcome poverty. The wife of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama spoke Thursday night in New York City at a fundraising dinner for the Democratic National Committee's Gay and Lesbian Leadership Council. She spoke about her husband's record pushing for workplace discrimination legislation in Illinois when he served in the Legislature there. Barack Obama has said it should be up to individual states to decide whether to allow gay marriage. Michelle Obama says he wants equal treatment for any relationship recognized under state law. And you still think Obamama is better than McCain? Think again. -JB |

From our guestbook: The first document of the founders was written before America was even a united nation. That first document is the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson, already proven to be a Deist and not a Christian, wrote this document. In the Declaration God is referred to as Nature's God, the Creator, Supreme Judge of the World, and divine Providence. Nowhere in the Declaration is God referred to as Jesus, Jehovah, or any other Judeo-Christian name. If America was intended to be a Christian nation the Declaration of Independence would have been filled with Biblical references. But the contrary is true. There is not one reference in it to the Bible or any Christian character or dogma. I agree, see what Ronald Regan said about this, he said it well. Just above that, read what our Constitution actually says about it. - JB |

"The big difference between Republicans and liberal Democrats is the way
each party views people. Republicans see us as individuals and respect our
God-given human dignity. To liberal Democrats, we're not individuals; we're
members of a herd with all the dignity of a cow or pig dependent on its owner
for daily rations of hay or slop... They submerge
us into pools that define us as members of groups instead of as what we are as
God sees us - as any father sees his children - each being different from one
another, and each child being a separate and distinct individual with his or
her own specific talents and abilities, and all deserving of his love... This
Marxist view of human nature embraces group-think, despises individuality,
and seeks to eliminate all vestiges of the dignity to which every human
being created in the image and likeness of God is entitled. Only the hopes
and aspirations of the groups matter, and they matter solely because they
create dependency on the state - which seeks to supplant God as the source
of all that is good and necessary for survival." ---Michael Reagan Read: The Democrats still don't get it. |
